Dubai travel influencer Anunay Sood’s cause of death in US revealed: Accidental overdose confirmed

Travel influencer and photographer Anunay Sood, a 32-year-old Dubai resident with a global social media following, died on November 4, 2025, while visiting Las Vegas, Nevada. U.S. authorities and toxicology reports have now confirmed that his death was the result of an accidental overdose caused by a combination of fentanyl (a potent synthetic opioid) and alcohol (ethanol). The Clark County Medical Examiner ruled the manner of death as accidental, and investigators found no evidence of foul play. Sood was found unresponsive in his hotel room during a trip to attend an automotive event; emergency responders attempted resuscitation with CPR and multiple doses of Narcan but were unable to revive him. Reports suggest that he and others with him may have unknowingly consumed a substance containing fentanyl, which has been a rising public-health concern in the U.S. when mixed with alcohol.
