The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather alert as the United Arab Emirates is expected to experience a mix of rain, strong winds, and dusty conditions in the coming period. Residents and visitors have been advised to stay updated with weather bulletins and take necessary precautions on roads and outdoor activities.
According to official forecasts, partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected over various parts of the country, with the possibility of convective cloud formation leading to rainfall in some coastal, northern, and eastern areas. Winds are forecast to be moderate to fresh, becoming stronger at times, which may stir up blowing dust across affected regions.
The NCM’s advisory highlights that these shifting weather patterns are part of broader atmospheric changes influencing the UAE’s weather, bringing unstable conditions with gusty winds and the chance of rain. Motorists have been urged to drive cautiously as visibility may drop due to blowing dust and passing showers.
In addition to the rainfall potential, rough sea conditions may be experienced at times, particularly in the Arabian Gulf, making marine and coastal activities more challenging.
