Dubai Police have engaged more than 800 workers in Al Ttay as part of an extensive safety awareness initiative aimed at promoting occupational safety, public security, and legal compliance.
The programme, organised by Dubai Police in coordination with relevant government entities, focused on educating workers about road safety, workplace hazards, emergency response procedures, and personal wellbeing. Officers delivered interactive sessions highlighting the importance of following traffic rules, using protective equipment at work sites, and reporting emergencies promptly through official channels.
Dubai Police officials said the initiative reflects the force’s commitment to safeguarding all segments of society and enhancing awareness among workers, particularly those employed in industrial and construction areas. The sessions were conducted in multiple languages to ensure clear communication and better understanding.
Participants were also briefed on crime prevention, labour rights, and ways to cooperate with authorities to maintain public order. Informational materials were distributed, and workers were encouraged to share the knowledge with their colleagues.
Dubai Police reaffirmed that such awareness campaigns play a key role in reducing accidents, improving safety standards, and strengthening community partnerships across the emirate.
